Learn moreOur specialist Collaborative Lawyer, trained in the Collaborative process, will support and advise you at all times, as you discuss your dispute, and as you attempt to come to an amicable agreement with the other person.
“Collaborative Law” is now commonly used alternative to instructing a Lawyer to apply to Court to resolve any disputes. With Collaborative Law each person appoints their own Collaborative Lawyer, trained in the Collaborative process, and then they arrange to sit down together with the other person to discuss the dispute and attempt to come to an amicable agreement. Having your Lawyer with you to help and advise you at all times, and especially during discussions with you ex, can be far more reassuring than trying to discuss matters alone with your ex.
Both of you and your Lawyers will all sign an agreement which commits you to try to resolve the issues without the need to go to Court. If the agreement breaks down then your Lawyer will not be able to represent you in Court at a later date.
Here at SpainWilliams, Justin Forster, is a trained Collaborative Lawyer and can assist you if you feel this is the right approach for your issues. He can be contacted at his email address justinforster@spainwilliams.com or via our Kings Hill office telephone number: 01732 448134.
